Maintenance

One year of related experience; demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance and related tools; the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb step ladders/scaffolding; and, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required.

A Utah driver’s license required.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description

• Performs routine maintenance including minor carpentry repair work, lock changes and electrical work
• Paints walls, doors, and other exposed surfaces as necessary.
• Follows Supervisor’s instructions to ensure work orders are completed timely.
• Conducts routine checks on machinery to determine maintenance required for proper operation.
• Transports supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assists in maintaining tools and equipment.
• Clean area after repair.   

The incumbent is responsible for the safe operation of equipment, including power tools in completing work orders. When problems arise in the process of performing maintenance duties the incumbent must determine when to involve the supervisor.
