Conference Operations Set-Up Part-Time

Demonstrated ability to prioritize & change course of action quickly, being flexible. Positive attitude and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Provide outstanding guest service. Sets up tables, chairs, catering, AV for groups using Conference Center.

Uses banquet event orders to ensure the client’s needs are met. Assists clients with AV equipment and other needs on-site. Attends scheduled staff meetings. Receives, greets and directs visitors to appropriate person or office. Answers telephones, providing assistance and directing customers to the correct person or office. Creates and maintains files. Answers questions about the organization and associated activities.

Assists with word processing, data entry and internet searches.

This position requires an approved background check which is paid for by the department.

Customer service experience preferred. Hotel and/or conference experience helpful. Must be able to communicate effectively in English
