Set Up Operations, Thomas S. Monson Center Part-Time

Demonstrated ability to prioritize & change course of action quickly, communicate effectively, and ability to be flexible. Applicant must have a positive attitude and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Provide outstanding guest service. Sets up tables, chairs, catering, AV for groups using the Thomas S Monson center.

Uses banquet event orders to ensure the client’s needs are met. Assists clients with AV equipment and other needs on-site. Attends scheduled staff meetings. Receives, greets and directs visitors to appropriate person or office.

This position requires a background check clearance; background check is paid for by the department. Employees receive the benefit of a free Trax/UTA pass during employment. Weekend and evening work will be required.

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
