Will perform a variety of duties in support of groups using the Conference Center, including greeting groups; setting up tables, chairs, catering and AV for groups; and performing a variety of other client support and administrative duties.

The Event Coordinator works in the Conference Services department of the University Guest House & Conference Center, developing client relations and working with conference groups. Interprets policies and advises clients on the application of regulations.

The House Person position cleans common areas of hotel & meeting spaces to ensure a clean environment by maintaining standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Will clean guest rooms if needed. This is a non-benefited position.
This is a full-time benefited housekeeping position at the University Guest House.
This Housekeeping position will work at the Thomas S. Monson Center, a Conference Center in Salt Lake City, under the direction of the University of Utah Guest House & Conference Services.
Part-time: Maintenance Helper: The Maintenance Helper for the University Guest House & Conference Center is part of the Maintenance Team and assists with maintaining the hotel and conference facilities. Rate of pay $15/hr.
Full-time: General Maintenance Worker is a full-time benefited position. Rate of pay $15/hr. Benefits for this position include but are not limited to, health care plan options, tuition discounts, UTA pass (Bus, TRAX, & FrontRunner), paid holidays, paid leave time, retirement plans, and more.
For both positions, a background check, paid for by the department, is required.
$500 Sign-On! This position works overnight shifts at the hotel front desk. Shifts are 11pm-7am. Must work holidays and weekends. The position is for any day of the week as needed.
Training will done during the day and evening times until the employee is fully trained and can be moved up to nights which is what the regular shift 11pm to 7am will be.

Summer Conference Coordinators are responsible for the day-to-day summer conference operations of the University of Utah. This includes establishing working relationships with community partners as well as working with a team of coordinators to facilitate groups staying on campus throughout the summer.
