There's much more involved to any event than renting a facility. Below is information on caterers, parking options, maps, linen options, and the alcohol policy. Additionally, you will find links to useful documents for your planning.

All events at the University Guest House, Commanders House, Officers Club, and Bandstand facilities must be catered (no food is allowed in the Chapel). Chartwells is the on-campus caterer and may be used for catering your wedding event. If you do not wish to have Chartwells cater your event, you may choose a caterer from our Suggested Caterers list
Alcohol service may be permitted in the University Guest House Hotel, The Officers Club, The Bandstand, and The Commanders House only under the following circumstances:
Any event being held in the evening (after 8:00 pm) or on the weekend can park in Fort Douglas lots without a fee, on a space available basis.
Parking lots located in Fort Douglas are patrolled by University of Utah Parking Services weekdays from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm. Any event needing parking during these times may select from the following two options.
Linen is included for meetings. For other events, such as dinners, receptions, vendor expos, we have linen available in limited colors begnning at $5 dollars per linen. Linen must be ordered 3 weeks in advance of your event. Groups may also provide their own linen or obtain linen from their caterer.
Tables and chairs for all events at the University Guest House, Chapel, Officers Club, and Commanders House are included in the rental rates. Bandstand furniture is available in limited quantities.
A reset fee per room will be applied for any resets to your setup during your event.
